So, our creative and intelligent Ksusha is 8 years old now. I'm so sad that we didn't get to share this special day with family and friends in the U.S. but I'm sure happy we got to spend it with some new friends here in the Dominican Republic. Everything went down without a hitch, Ksusha didn't even flinch when she stepped into the baptismal font and saw that it was full of floating bugs. It's the ordinance that counts, right?
